The style, form and classical detailing of the buildings which represents a simple, late Victorian two storey bald-face terrace style with stripped detailing and little ornamentation and incorporation of standard building techniques and finishes which reflects the "speculative" nature of the buildings;· the architectural configuration and layout which is representative of terrace housing of the period, however, like other buildings in The Rocks, shows some innovation in the way the buildings have been adapted to suit the irregular site parameters and topography of the site.
