No 75-75 1/2 George Street is a pair of late Victorian shops having ornate stuccoed facades with projecting cornice and parapet above. A small pediment with the date 1883 rises above the parapet between the two facades. Pilasters decorated with columns, Corinthian capitals and cornices rise to the full height of the façade separating them from the two adjacent buildings and dividing the two shops. The ornate design contrasts significantly with the surrounding restrained Georgian and Federation style building facades.
